Organization & Staff

Manhattan Soccer Club's mission is to develop skilled athletes and superior teammates. We strive for a positive learning environment with emphasis on soccer fundamentals. Our players learn the value of sportsmanship, discipline, focus and commitment. They build self-esteem, leadership and conflict resolution skills.

MSC is dedicated to fielding teams that succeed at the community, regional and national level, and to nurturing a supportive membership of families that draws upon the vast diversity and resources of New York City.

Our Organization

Manhattan Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 1000 players, representing more than 700 families. Soccer and day-to-day operations are run by full-time professionals, while a strong base of parent volunteers help with everything else. MSC is one of the largest member clubs of the Westchester Youth Soccer League;  the New York Club Soccer League, a  founding member of the Elite Development Program, and a member of the Boys Elite Clubs National League

Professional Coaching

Soccer is handled by soccer professionals. Manhattan Soccer Club has a staff of 30 professionally licensed coaches with extensive experience to manage every level of player development.

FULL-TIME STAFF

A small staff working alongside a dedicated team of volunteers handle key areas of daily responsibility, including adminstration, logistics, human resources, and communications with members.

Families

A core of volunteers handle important off-the-field functions like fundraising, running our tournament, club-wide social events and serving on our Board of Directors. At the fundamental level, parent managers work with each team and coach to assure continuity of communication between parents, players, and club.
