Junior Academy Overview
The Junior High School Academy represents the intermediate stage of our youth player development model. All teams will compete at appropriate levels of competition based on age and ability ranging from national to local. This program focuses on tactical development with continued emphasis on individual technical development. Through a structured curriculum and regular player evaluation and feedback, the foundations are established for athletic development and team building.
In general, teams train three times per week, play one match on the weekend, and participate in three to five tournaments annually. Players are expected to attend scheduled training sessions. All players are encouraged to attend more than the required and may make-up a missed training session with the permission of the Director of Coaching. All players are expected to attend all scheduled team matches and tournaments.
