Donate & Support MSC

There are many ways to make financial contributions to MSC; all support the club’s mission in diverse and remarkable ways. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, gifts to MSC not only strengthen the club but offer significant tax advantages. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any of the ways to support the club, as well as any other ideas you might have.

MSC ANNUAL GIVING TO THE GENERAL FUND:

MSC Annual Giving to the General Fund provides additional funds that directly support the overall club. While most of these funds are directed towards operating expenses, player financial assistance, and facility rentals, annual fund monies also go towards other program needs such as advertising, administration cost, coaching, website expenses, equipment, speakers, tournaments, and more.

MSC SCHOLARS FUND

.

Manhattan SC has joined up with select community partners to provide academic support, college mentoring, and leadership training to our high school-age scholarship players. This initiative builds on our existing YSF Scholars platform, which provides guidance and support for eighth-grade players navigating the public high school admissions process.

Our hope is that by supporting our players in the classroom, we can replicate our on-field successes and create opportunities for players to fully thrive at the college level and beyond.

FINANCIAL AID FUND

.

MSC offers the most financial aid of almost any travel club in the nation. Almost 20% of our players receive some form of financial aid. In 2019, we distributed over $400,000 in financial aid to our players.

COACH EDUCATION FUND

.

Our coaches are all professional soccer coaches who are committed to developing our kids both as players and as people. Continuing their education and professional development is a top priority. We send our coaches to professional meetings, targeted courses (CPR & First Aid) and licensing programs. Please contribute to the mission of continuing professional development for our excellent coaching staff.

WELLNESS AND SAFETY FUND

.

The wellness and safety fund supports our priority of developing and implementing injury prevention programs for our players. Top priorities include ACL injury prevention, concussion education and CPR coach training.

College Showcase Travel Fund

.

Most of our premier high school-aged travel soccer players have the skill and discipline to play soccer in college and we are proud of the fact that many play all over the country. The recruitment process now requires going to college showcase tournaments, college identification camps, and clinics; it’s expensive and beyond the means of some of our players. This fund helps those players participate in the college recruitment process. We change lives every day and every year by helping more kids become college graduates. Join us in that mission.

Sponsorship Opportunites

.

Partnering with MSC - a non-profit, diverse community organization - can help your company create a more positive brand image, increase awareness of your corporate property, and assist in developing an even more favorable rating among new and old clients. And sponsorship can be more cost-effective than advertising.

Our annual tournament is one of the largest and most prestigious in the nation, attracting top-level teams to New York City for the first weekend in March. Sponsorship at our tournament delivers a targeted, nationwide audience and brings awareness and cache to your brand. Contact us for details.
