Five Friday evenings on the field with Director of Coaching Shari Eckstrom and the top coaches in our girls’ program. Strikers and goalkeepers train together — live reps, game-realistic situations, real pressure.

Who this is for

Field players who want to become more dangerous in front of goal, and goalkeepers who want live, game-speed repetitions. Players train with and against each other all five sessions.

Sessions are capped at 40 players

For Strikers

  • Finishing inside the box: correct surface, controlling pace of pass
  • Movement off the ball and runs into dangerous space
  • Scoring off volleys, headers, and balls out of the air
  • 1v1s, penalty kicks, crosses, and finishing in the run of play
  • Small combinations to create a shot — and beating the keeper

For Goalkeepers

  • Shot-stopping technique, high and low
  • Footwork, agility, and speed inside the box
  • Positioning on crosses: when to come, when to hold the line
  • Communication and organizing the box
  • Quick reactions and making the second save

This 5-session program builds confidence and gives your player specific, repeatable training in the moments that decide games.
