Coach's Biography
Felix brings life long enthusiasm for local club and youth soccer to the MSC Spirit.  Felix has been a successful player himself since age eight in several teams in Queens club soccer, at Bayside High School, and at Queensborough Community College and he is currently playing for the NY Galicia Cosmopolitan League Mens Open.  In addition to his lifelong contributions as a player, Felix brings a wealth of education, training and certifications in coaching including an NSCAA Youth Diploma and an NSCAA Regional Diploma, and currently Felix is in the process of getting and NSCAA National Diploma.  Teams Felix has successfully coached and mentored include the Riverdale Country School JV Team for the fall season 2010 as Assistant Coach, the MSC U18B Rebels in 2010-2011, the MSC U18B Red Bulls from 2011-present, The Kew Forest School Varsity Team as Head Coach for the fall season 2011, The Collegiate School JV as Head Coach for the fall seasons 2012 and 2013, and our own MSC U10G Spirit from 2013-Present.  The MSC Spirit players are enjoying a fun and educational season of soccer under Coach Felix Cano this year.

Northport Cow Harbor Tournament Columbus Weekend 12th-13th October 2013

Spirit went undefeated in the tournament, with a record of 3 wins and 1 draw. They finished second in their bracket on tie breakers.
