IV. The Tournament Czar’s Quickie Tournament Guide and Recommendations for U9 Teams:

Pre-Fall Season Tune-up – East Meadow Coventa Cup (aggressive A teams).

Labor Day – Yorktown (short and sweet…play and go back to the beach).

Columbus Day – Kirkwood (aggressive A teams), North Hempstead (A teams), Poughkeepsie.

Halloween – JPSC (beautiful setting - worth doing for the foliage).

Thanksgiving – Relax at home.

Winter - Soccer Coliseum (don’t get creative - nothing beats it) and Soccer Palace.

Late Winter/Early Spring (outdoor) – DUSC or Iona (unless MSC has expanded – then MSC).

Spring (early May) – La Grange Cup (good alternative or supplement to Memorial Day Tournament).

Memorial Day – Delco (aggressive A teams), Massapequa (A teams), East Fishkill, Scarsdale.
