RAY SELVADURAI

Director of Coaching

Ray is in his 15th year as a head coach at MSC and coaches Boys U18 PSG’95. As a player, Ray was captain, MVP and a regional All-American at Brandeis, whom he led to an ECAC New England Championship. He then became an Assistant Coach at Brandeis and Montclair State, and Head Coach at Bergen CC. In addition to being Director of Coaching at MSC, Ray is a staff coach of the EDP “TIP” Program, an Executive Board Member of EDP (Eastern Development Program) and on the Affiliate Committee. of MLS’ New York City FC. He holds Youth, Regional and State Diplomas from the NSCAA.

JASON WEISBERG

Jason Weisberg  has been an assistant coach for Manhattan College and Dominican College's men’s program's,  and an assistant coach at Iona College with the women from 2007-2010.  He was a former Director of Coaching at Middlepath FC and ECNL coach at Alberston SC. Jason is a Region 1 Olympic Development (ODP) Program Staff coach, and has been a State ODP head coach since 2002 as well as a scout for U.S. Soccer's Training centers. He has a masters degree in counseling Psychology. Jason played his Collegiate soccer at Stony Brook University and holds a USSF "A" license and an NSCAA Premier Diploma. 

WILSON EGIDIO

Wilson Egidio grew up in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He began his amateur playing career with his hometown club, Villa Nova AC of Brazil's 1st Division, then moved on to play professionally at Santos FC, Pele's former club. Following his playing career, Wilson was Head Coach of City College of New York, leading CCNY to four Conference titles and earning six Coach of the Year Awards.  Wilson has served as an Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach and as head coach at Horace Mann School, who he led to a NYSAIAA State Championship. In 2012 Wilson's two MSC teams, Cruzeiro and PSG 96, were both Region 1 Premier League Champions and State Cup Champions. PSG 96 were also Region 1 Champions and 3rd at the USYSA National Championship. Wilson has a State of Rio de Janeiro Soccer Coaching License; a Brazilian National Soccer Coaching License; a NSCAA Premier Diploma; and a USSF “A” License.

JES LANDAU SELVADURAI

Jes grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, where she was a four-year letter-winner for Cheyenne Mountain High School.. She then attended Savannah College of Art and Design on a Presidential Scholarship, playing for Coach Andy Williamson, graduating Summa Cum Laude in Fiber Arts. Jes moved to New York City to pursue coaching, and has been at Manhattan Soccer Club since 2006.

CHIP WONDERLIN

Before coming to MSC to direct the U5-U7 program in 2013, Chip was Head Coach and Coaching Coordinator of Super Soccer Stars and NY Stars Premier, overseeing successful programs for young players across the city. Chip grew up in Michigan and Florida and played his collegiate soccer at Brevard College in North Carolina. He holds an NSCASA National Diploma and a USYSA National Youth License.

PATRICK GREENE

Now in his 14th year at MSC, Patrick was instrumental in the creation of the U8-U12 Youth Academy and continues to specialize on early-stage player development. MSC Pride, one of his first teams, went on to win the 2013 U19 State Cup with many of the same girls Patrick coached as 8 year olds. U14 Santos, who he coached through U13, continue to be ranked in the top 5 in the nation. Patrick also teaches English at De La Salle Academy, a middle school for academically gifted students. Patrick holds NSCAA Director of Coaching, Premier and Goalkeeping licenses as well as the USYSA National Youth License.

JAY MYERS

Jay Myers is the Director Of Coaching at The International Men's Academy at Monroe College.  He has served as the Assistant Women's Coach at Iona and Manhattan Colleges. He has also served as an Assistant Coach at Pace University, Dominican College and as head women's coach at Bard College. In 2013 Jay coached MSC Pride to the semifinals of the Region 1 tournament and to the U19 and U23 State Cup Championships, a first for the club. Jay coached Quickstrike Lady Blues - the reserve team of WPS Sky Blue FC - to 3rd place in the "W" league national tournament in 2010; and Black Watch U20s to the New England Regional Championship and national tournament finals. Jay is a long-serving member of the New York State ODP staff, and a staff member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), where he instructs for NSCAA Diplomas. He holds NSCAA Premier, Advanced National, National and Goalkeeping I Diplomas.

JOHN LATHAN

John made his professional debut at the age of 17 for Sunderland in the English Premier League and played for the Black Cats for several years, including 1973 when Sunderland captured the FA Cup.  His  professional playing career included stops at Mansfield Town, Carlisle and Portsmouth, where he was team captain.  Lathan coached in Australia and South Africa before moving to New York in 2003. John coached MSC Ajax, who graduated in 2013, to the most successful record in club history, including three State Cups, three Region 1 Premier League championships, and five consecutive appearances at the Region 1 Championships.  He holds NCSAA Advanced and Premiere diplomas, and a Full License from the FA in England.

ORLANDO OSORIO

Orlando Osorio has been the  Head Coach of the Riverdale Country School Girls Varsity for 14 seasons.  He has led the Lady Falcons to Ivy League and NY State Association of Independent Schools championships. In 2010 he was selected as Girls Soccer Coach of the Year by the New York Post, and in 2011 he was chosen as the Head Coach for the All City Independent School team in the New York City Mayor's Cup.  Orlando currently holds a NSCAA youth diploma, and a USSF National “C” license.

CHERYL PRICE

Cheryl Price played youth soccer for the Yorktown Jaguars, was a 6 year member of the ENY Olympic Development Program, and was a 6 year starter for her varsity high school team where she was also captain and selected to the all-state team.  Cheryl played Division 1 soccer at Northeastern University and played at the semi-pro level after college.  She was the coach at Our Lady of Lourdes High School and Middlepath FC in LaGrange, NY.  Cheryl is a Staff Member of the NY State ODP, holds a USSF State 5 Referee badge and is pursuing a national referee badge. She currently holds a NSCAA National Diploma, an Advanced Goalkeeping 1 Diploma, and a USSF “D” license.
