4/1/2012: New Westchester club has heads turning |
|
Sleepy Hollow FC entered the Westchester league with a bang this weekend, with an unorthodox style of play that had opposing players puzzled and coaches scratching their heads.
"It takes some getting used to," says MSC coach Neri Amaducci, who had two teams play against SHFC this weekend. "But they can play. They have a good feel for the game...which makes sense, when you think about it. They don't have much of a choice." "It comes naturally to us, in Sleepy Hollow...and look, it has it's advantages" says SHFC club director "Icky" Crane, Jr. "All this concern about concussions? That's one thing we don't have to worry about."
