Battery Tunnel – Exit 2 - toward I-278 Brooklyn (Westbound)
 
Left-hand merge onto the Belt Parkway (East)
 
Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway (Flatbush Ave. South) towards Rockaways.
South on Flatbush Avenue.
 
At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
 
From Queens:
Van Wyck Expwy I-678 South – towards Kennedy Airport
Exit 1W toward Verrazano Bridge/Belt Parkway West
Turn slight right onto N Conduit Ave
Merge onto Belt Pkwy towards Verrazano Bridge
Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway (Flatbush Ave. South) towards Rockaways
South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
 
From Brooklyn:

Continue on Flatbush Avenue past the Belt Parkway entrance

Subway:
2 train to Flatbush Avenue/Brooklyn College station (last stop). Take the Q35 bus 1 block from the train station (Flatbush). Between Nostrand Ave. and Ave. H ask the bus to stop across from Aviator at Floyd Bennett Field.

Note: Parking is limited.
 
By Subway:
1 Train: 215th Street stop, walk two blocks north and cross Broadway at W. 218th Street.
A train: North to 207th Street (exit at north end of platform - 211th Street), then proceed north to 218th Street.
METRO-NORTH (Commuter Rail): Marble Hill Station is located just across the Harlem River from Baker Athletics Complex, at 225th Street. Walk east to Broadway, then south across the Broadway Bridge to 218th Street.
By Car:
 
From WEST SIDE HIGHWAY/HENRY HUDSON PARKWAY: Exit on Dyckman Street, and proceed east to Broadway. Make a left on Broadway and proceed 20 blocks north to 218th Street.
 
From FDR/HARLEM RIVER DRIVE: Continue north to end of Harlem River Drive. Bear right at light and proceed north on 10th Avenue to 218th Street.
 
From MAJOR DEEGAN EXPRESSWAY (I-87): Exit 230th Street. Proceed on 230th Street westbound (from north – make right at light; from south make left at light). Continue on 230th Street to Broadway. Make left on Broadway and proceed 12 blocks to 218th Street.
 
From WEST: Take George Washington Bridge and follow signs for Henry Hudson Parkway North or Major Deegan Expressway North(follow directions above).
 
From NORTH: Take Cross-Westchester Expressway (I-287) or Cross-County Parkway west to Saw Mill River Parkway south. Take the Saw Mill to the Henry Hudson Parkway South or Major Deegan Expressway South (follow directions above).
 
From NEW ENGLAND: Take Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) to Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95). Exit Cross Bronx to Major Deegan Expressway North or Henry Hudson Parkway North (follow directions above).
 
From LONG ISLAND: Take Long Island Expressway East to Clearview Expressway North, or Northern State Parkway/Grand Central Parkway East to Cross Island Parkway North to Throgs Neck Bridge. Bear left after toll for Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) South (follow directions above).
From SOUTH: Take New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 18 George Washington Bridge (follow directions above).

On-site parking is limited to about 60 cars.
 
Street parking on weekends is very tight. The street layout though is pretty straightforward and there are no “traps.”

By Subway and Train
The #7 subway line stops at Willets Point/Shea Stadium, above Roosevelt Avenue in the northern part of the Park. The station
is surrounded by Shea Stadium parking. Walk down Passerelle Pedestrian Overpass ramps to the Fountain of the Planets -
the fields are situated around this sculpture.
The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) has a stop at Shea Stadium along its Port Washington line (right at #7 subway station). (Check the LIRR
site for schedules. The LIRR only stops at Flushing Meadows when the Mets are playing or the US Open is in session. Follow path from #7

From the North:
Hutchinson River Parkway south to Exit 14.
Right off exit ramp and then right at stop sign onto New Rochelle Road
Go under Parkway and turn left at light onto Eastchester Road.
Take Eastchester Road to third traffic light, turn left onto Clove Road.
Turn right into HS parking lot.
 
I-95 south to Exit 16, North Ave.
At end of exit ramp bear right and then turn right onto North Ave.
Go north on North Ave about one mile.

From the South:

From NYC: BQE West to Prospect Expressway. Get off at Ft. Hamilton Pkwy. Go two lights and make a left onto Caton Ave. Fields will be on the left hand side on Caton Ave.
Local Streets: Jackie Robinson Expressway to Pennsylvania Ave. Continue to Linden Blvd and make a right. Continue on Linden until you get to the Bedford Avenue intersection. Make a right but bear left (if you make a 90 degree right turn you will be on Bedford Ave) this will put you on Caton Ave. Continue for about a mile, fields will be on your right-hand side.

Roosevelt Island Fields (Octagon AA & BB)

Getting there:
Roosevelt Island is compact and walkable and most easily accessed by public transportation. This link has excellent instructions for all modes of access: http://rioc.com/transportation.htm
 
By Subway:
F train to Roosevelt Island stop. Once out of the Roosevelt F station, turn right and head in the opposite direction of the 59th St Bridge. The field is approximately an 8-10 minute walk on Main St (the only street).
 
There are red buses that run up Main St ($1.00 exact change only) but walking is easy.
 
BY Tramway (cable car from Manhattan)
Runs every 15 minutes Board at 59th Street and Second Avenue in Manhattan. The fare is equivalent to subway and bus fares. Metrocards are accepted. The tram terminal is further south on the island. Will probably add 5 minutes to the walk.
 
By Car:
Enter via the Roosevelt Island Bridge at 36th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard in Queens. Turn right on Main Street until you see the fields.
 
Parking: You can drop-off at the fields but there is no on-street parking for non-residents. The Motorgate Garage on 688 Main Street is a 5-minute walk from the fields. $9.00 for two hours. For more info: http://www.rioc.com/parking.htm
 
Bathrooms:  There are bathrooms at the field.
 
Food:
There is a Starbucks, a pizzeria, and a Japanese restaurant just outside the subway station.
There are a few other shops on Main St, including a deli, and a pub, and a bank with an outside ATM.
Supermarket: Gristedes, in the parking garage.

The fields are down on a lower level, near the river, and not visible from the street, or from the initial paths in Riverside park.
 
103 is next to a baseball field. 107 is located before the skate park and after the sand park. It’s easily accessible from 103rd St. or 108th St. It’s slightly north of the dog run.

Street Parking on Riverside Drive or numbered streets can be difficult to find.

From Upstate NY or from West of Westchester County:
Go across Tappan Zee Bridge (going South on the Thruway). Take second exit ROUTE 287 – CROSS WESTCHESTER east to Exit 9 HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY NORTH (toward CT & Merritt Parkway). Exit from the "HUTCH" at Exit 30 – KING ST. At the top of the ramp make a RIGHT onto King Street and continue until the first turn after the traffic light. Make a RIGHT into the entrance of Blind Brook High School/Blind Brook Middle School.

From New England:
South on MERRITT PARKWAY to Exit 27S KING STREET. At the end of the exit ramp bear left onto Ridge Street. Follow the sign for 120A immediately onto King Street and make a right on King Street.  Continue until the first turn after the traffic light. Make a RIGHT into the school’s entrance.

From New York City:
Get to the HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY heading north. Continue north until Exit 30 – KING STREET. At the top of the ramp make a RIGHT onto King Street and continue until the first turn after the traffic light. Make a RIGHT into the school’s entrance.

Parking is limited at the school, and there is no street parking on the adjacent streets to RCDS. There is plenty of parking available at the nearby train station, a short walk from the fields.
 
Plan to dropoff your players at the field, then park at the train station.
 
Note: For teams playing the early 8am games, the facility directors have asked that you arrive no earlier than 7:15am.
 
The venue is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from town, where you can find a large variety of restaurants and stores.

If that’s full, continue around the loop road, past the park entrance to Parking Area 3, the upper parking lot, on your right just past the park entrance.
