Our Mission

The Manhattan Soccer Club organizes and fields teams for boys and girls from the ages of eight to 17. We are one of the largest Clubs in New York state.  Every year the Club provides a way for around 650 kids on some 45 teams to play travel soccer at all levels of competitiveness, something that sets us apart from most other Clubs. We play the majority of our games in the Westchester Youth Soccer League, against teams in the Bronx and various cities, towns and villages of Westchester County.  We also compete in the Northern Counties Soccer Association (NJ-NY), the Mid-Atlantic Premier Soccer League (NJ-NY), the East Hudson Youth Soccer League (NY), and, through our affiliation with the US Youth Soccer Association, the Eastern New York Premier League (which includes better teams on Long Island and in the Hudson Valley), the more competitive Northeast Regional and Region One Premier Leagues and, at the highest level of competition, the USYSA National League.

Our home fields, including the state-of-the-art turf Icahn field and the excellent grass Kantor fields, are on Manhattan's Randall's Island which is easily accessible via the Triborough Bridge. In addition to training on our home fields, we hold practices in Central Park, Riverside Park, Chelsea Waterside Park, on Pier 40, and Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.  As many of you may know, Randall's Island is being completely redeveloped, so in the not-so-distant future we will be able to centralize much of our training sessions on these new grass and turf facilities.  We hope to start using the first of these 18 new fields on Randall's by the fall of this year.
